Magnet Releasing offers up this sequel to V/H/S (2012), the clever horror anthology built around the premise of a gang hired to steal a videotape, which turns out to contain a series very bizarre vignettes. Once again, a handful of genre filmmakers have contributed individual segments: Simon Barret, Jason Eisener, Gareth Evans, Gregg Hale, Eduardo Sanchez, Timo Tjahjanto, Jamie Nash, and Adam Wingard. The cast includes Kelsy Abbott, Fachry Albar, Oka Antara, Devon Brookshire, Jay Saunders, etc. The 96-minute film is rated R for “bloody violence, strong sexuality, graphic nudity, pervasive language and some drug use.”
