'Conan' To Be Set Loose Next Summer

Jason Momoa in CONANLionsgate announced that CONAN will be released August 19th, 2011, in standard and 3-D versions.

Marcus Nispel directs the Nu Image film from a screenplay by Thomas Dean Donnelly, Joshua Oppenheimer, and Sean Hood, based on Robert E. Howard’s pulp sword & sorcery tales of Conan The Barbarian.
Jason Momoa (STARGATE ATLANTIS) stars as the Cimmerian adventurer, along with Rose McGowen (CHARMED), Steven Lang (AVATAR), Ron Perlman (HELLBOY), Katarzyna Wolejnio, and Rachel Nichols (ALIAS, STAR TREK).

Thousands of rare pulp magazines, vintage paperbacks and movie collectibles – a pleasant one-day show that attracts collectors and exhibitors and all things pulp-ish. The primary slant of the show is pulp magazines – The Green Hornet, The Shadow, Doc Savage, Weird Tales, Black Mask, Wild West Weekly, and thousands of other magazines.
