Celebrating the arrival of the new SUPERMAN Blu-ray box set, this week’s Cinefantastique Laserblast Home Video Podcast takes a look back at the five Warner Brothers films: SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE; SUPERMAN II; SUPERMAN III; SUPERMAN IV: THE QUEST FOR PEACE; and SUPERMAN RETURNS. Guest Orenthal V. Nathan Fillion, Emerald Knight

nathan_fillion_02TV Guide broke the news that  Nathan Fillion (FIREFLY, CASTLE) will be voicing the role of Hal Jordan in DC Universe’s GREEN LANTERN: EMERALD KNIGHTS.
The Warner Brothers Animation Direct-To-DDVD feature is due out June 7th. It’s set to be an anthology film, consisting of Emerald Knights is a series of short tales  about the Green Lantern Corps. Fillion’s Green Lantern will be mentoring Arisia, a new Corps recuit, to be voiced by Elisabeth Moss (MAD MEN).
The voice cast includes Jason Isaacs (Lucius Malfoy, HARRY POTTER films), “Rowdy: Roddy Piper (THEY LIVE)  Kelly Hu (THE VAMPIRE DIARIES) The Vampire Diaries), and Henry Rollins (FEAST),
Bruce Timm is a producer, and Chris Berkeley, Lauren Montgomery, and Jay Oliva direct segments.
