Sam Witwer is Darth Maul

Sam_WitwerAccording to Nuke The Fridge,  when Darth Maul returns in the animated STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS on Cartoon Network, he’ll be voiced by a familar genre actor.
Sam Witwer (SMALLVILLE’s Doomsday), and currently the vampiric star of SyFy’s take on the UK supernatural drama BEING HUMAN. will take on the role of the popular character of  Darth Sidious’ apprentice—who seemed to be pretty much indisputably dead, cut in half and the two parts fallen down a power shaft in THE PHANTOM MENACE.
Witwer has also appeared in the Steven King movie THE MIST, and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. In the STAR WARS universe he’s provided voices for THE CLONE WARS and the video games THE FORCE UNLEASHED (Starkiller) and STAR WARS: THE ULTIMATE SITH EDITION.

SyFy's American 'Being Human' Teaser

Here’s the teaser for SyFy’s ‘Americanized’ take on BEING HUMAN, the BBC’s  “young urban monsters trying to pass in the real world”  series.
It features no footage from the upcoming show.

Adam Kane (The Mentalist, Heroes) is Director and Co-Executive Producer with Executive Producer Michael Prupas (The Kennedys, Pillars of the Earth) and husband and wife Executive Producers/Writers Jeremy Carver (Supernatural) and Anna Fricke (Men in Trees, Everwood). Muse Entertainment is producing 13 1-hour episodes for Syfy. Being Human, a re-imagining of the acclaimed UK series created by Toby Whithouse, follows three paranormal, 20-something roommates living in Boston – vampire “Aidan” (Witwer), werewolf “Josh” (Huntington) and ghost “Sally” (Rath) – as they struggle to hide their dark secrets from the world, while helping each other navigate the complexities of living double lives and trying to be human. Mark Pellegrino plays Aidan’s charismatic but menacing vampire mentor ‘Bishop.’
