This computer-generated cartoon comedy turns the usual alien invasion on its head: it’s all about an astronaut from Earth who lands on the titular PLANET 51 and finds it inhabited by happy suburban beings terrified of an alien invasion. Jorge Blanco and co-directors Javier Abad and Marcos Martinez helmed the film, from a script by Joe Stillman. Dwayne Johnson, Seann William Scott, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, and John Cleese supply voices.
This second trailer shows more of the plot, including attempts by a local boy to hide the Earth astronaut from the frightened neighbors.
