The swell folk over at Freestyle Releasing have graciously bequeathed us an advance glimpse of their upcoming Halloween goody, THE HAUNTING OF MOLLY HARTLEY. As you can see from the pic above, in this scene SWINGTOWN’S Shana Collins, in an uncommon fit of fastidiousness, is giving MUSIC AND LYRIC’S Haley Bennett an extra-thorough shampoo rinse. Either that, or something verrrrry bad is going down.
The film is the directorial debut of Mickey Liddell, who previously produced the feature GO, as well as the curious, short-lived TV series JACK AND BOBBY and the more tenacious EVERWOOD. John Travis (THE NEW DAUGHTER) and Rebecca Sonnenshine (AMERICAN ZOMBIE) scripted. Also appearing are Chace Crawford (GOSSIP GIRL), Shannon Marie Woodward (THE RICHES), and AnnaLynne McCord (NIP/TUCK).

We’re going to assume that they’re hinting at a scarier destiny than just, say, fry-cook at the local McDonald’s. We’ll know for sure come October 31.
